Card index, arranged alphabetically by scientific name of birds observed by Alexander. For each species, the date or dates of the sightings is given, together with the location and a brief description of the birds' appearance, movements, etc. Most of the birds were observed in Australia but there are entries in the index for observations made in many countries. The index was compiled by Alexander.
